Biomedical Engineer - Healthcare Predictive Modelling using Machine Learning

Remote • Full-time 

This is a full-time remote role for a Biomedical Engineer with Machine Learning Expertise in Healthcare Predictive Modelling. You will design, develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms that will help the company develop better healthcare predictive modelling. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide solutions that are customized to patients' and healthcare providers' requirements.



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or a related field

  • Demonstrated expertise in applied machine learning and predictive modelling to healthcare problems

  • Hands-on experience with data preparation, data cleaning, and feature engineering of healthcare data (structured and unstructured)

  • Expertise in relevant machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)

  • Strong proficiency in Python (Programming Language) and SQL

  • Experience in working with data analytics

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities


  • Master's or PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field

  • Experience in biomedical signal processing and medical image analysis

  • Experience with cloud computing and deployment of machine learning models

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)

  • Experience with deep learning model interpretability and explainability tools and methodologies

  • Experience of working with healthcare providers and researchers and knowledge of health regulations and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA)
